Aurora Aksnes born 15th June 1996 Stavanger is a Norwegian music writer and singer. Her debut E.P. Aurora Aksnes' earliest musical memories involve finding an instrument hidden in her attic, and becoming fascinated with the sound it made. She is credited with Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen and Bjork for being among her inspirations. Her mother was supportive of her performing her music publicly, not so that she could gain fame but rather to let others know the importance of their work and the good they do to make a difference in the world. She began playing the piano when she was six years old and started creating music when she was nine. The family did not have any idea about it until she turned fourteen. Aurora was not a dream of her childhood. Her only passion is to compose music. According to her, the songs she creates are how she feels about anything.
